For Employers

Promote Opportunities in Music

Leverage these employer and business owner resources
to inform, attract, and discover new talent.

We have provided resources that NAMM Member companies—including music product retailers, manufacturers, distributors, and publishers—can utilize to help develop career pathways in the music products, pro audio, and live event industries. These tools can help facilitate outreach to community colleges, career and technical education programs, universities, and local, state, and federal workforce development agencies. This collaboration aims to establish and promote a consistent training-to-career pipeline.

Host a Presentation

School ‘Career Day’ Presentations

Many Schools offer Career Day/Expo/Fair/Awareness events designed to inspire and empower students as they consider their future careers. Through interactive workshops, presentations, and meaningful conversations with professionals from the music industry, many students will discover for the first time the many career and pathway possibilities available to them. Most school administrators are pleased to receive presentation proposals from members of the community.

Educator or Counselor Conference Presentation

State Music Educator Conferences and School Counselor Conference attendees engage in interactive sessions covering topics such as college and career readiness. Both types of events offer great opportunities to promote careers in music.
